‘Cutting Through the Corporate Mindfulness Hype‘. This article takes a critical look at the claims of mindfulness and emotional intelligence at the workplace. I include this here because it contributes to the truth. It is very easy for corporations and individuals to get carried away and see mindfulness as a panacea; which it is not. This is a sure way for the ego self to attach to something as a solution for his/her problems. This defeats the whole purpose of mindfulness which is about cultivating ‘non-judgemental’ awareness of the moment: good, bad and the ugly!
